Summary: Two young men cook a dinner over a small oil stove inside a rough wood frame shack near Fargo (N.D.). A rifle is balanced against the wall behind one of the young man tending the dinner pan on the tiny stove. A tablecloth covers a table, and a water container is also visible. The boys wear rough work clothes and caps, and are seated on what appears to be one of the beds in this billet. On one wall hang pots, a rack holding newspapers, on another an alarm clock.
