Summary: Russell Reid's photograph of the progress that has been made by the WPA at the site of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park, Morton County (N.D.), shows two of the blockhouses and a section of the stockade fence. This part of the park is the original location of Fort McKeen, on the bluffs overlooking the Fort Lincoln buildings on the west side of the Missouri River. Much work was done through WPA park developments in 1934 and again into 1938.
