Title: Panoramic view of Tobacco Gardens, McKenzie County (N.D.)
Date: 1936-1942
Inscription/Marks: On the back: col. 75/512, tape seems, "15", "B63", and "Panoramic view of Tobacco Gardens McKenzie County".
Summary: The triptych panels in this panoramic view are of the McKenzie County (N.D.) area known as Tobacco Gardens. Located on the south side of the Missouri River, it appears that some extensive work is being done to stabilize the bank area of the bay. A cobble wall and spillway are shown in the left end of the triptych, and a built-up embankment of rip-raped stretches into the middle panel. The water of Tobacco Garden Bay fills much of the visible Missouri valley at this spot.
