Summary: From the stone-lined embankment along the Red River the new bridge is photographed showing pedestrians and cars crossing on the bridge that links Moorhead, Minnesota and Fargo (N.D.). A Federal Aid project, Number 568-A, the bridge is a handsome continuous span bridge with steel decking and steel plate girders. It is designed in the Art Moderne style, the details of which are seen in of the piers and in the finish appearance of the metal hand or guard rails. The bridge was completed in 1937, and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places with the identifying number 32CS4474.
