Date: 1936-1942
Inscription/Marks: On the back: col. 75/582, "Fargo Airport", and "06" stamped.
Summary: A large shiny prop plane is being tended to one the field outside the Hector Airfield Terminal. Men, women and small boys are taking in the scene of airport activity. Dirt is still heaped around the foundation of the new terminal building, a two story flat-roofed building in stucco. Both floors are square in shape, the top level being significantly smaller than the lower level. A signal apparatus rises above the top. The single-story original terminal structure is grafted on to the right side of the new construction. The buildings and hanger were constructed by the WPA in 1936. The project sign can be seen near the two women spectators in front of the old terminal section.
