Inscription/Marks: On the back: col. 686, "The first Binder in the Northwest on Main Street of Minot", "Mr. Jackson had this picture and thought it would be all right if you could use it" typed, "From Farm MAchinery file", and postcard marks.
Summary: This postcard scene shows a crowd of people watching a team of horses pull a binder down the street during a parade in Minot (N.D.). The white horses plod in front of a man riding the first binder of this type used in the northwest. The crowd is pressed up against a restraining rope barricade, and small boys and girls sit politely on the curbing. A tall young man dangles his legs as he rides a calf behind the binder and team. Another man with a satchel over his shoulder is crossing the street behind the group.
