Summary: A single electric light bulb hangs from the ceiling of the music classroom of the new High School in Valley City, N.D, shedding little illumination for the members of the Girls' Glee Club who are gathered. Seventeen young women are seated in the wooden desks, tall covered windows behind them. A young woman in the standard dress of the time-long skirt and shirtwaist-sits at the piano. The teacher advisor to the Glee Club, Rosetta Brouillette, stands in profile with a song book in her hand. Mounted in a scrapbook dedicated to the Grade and High School in Valley City, North Dakota.
