Title: Young male students and their coach at basketball practice in the high school gymnasium, Valley City (N.D.)

Inscription/Marks: On the page below the mounted photograph: col. 76-7, and "Basket BAll Practice in the Gymnasium---Valley City, No.Dak."
Summary: Seven boys practice basketball moves in the basement gymnasium of the Valley City High School, with the coach watching closely. The coach was customarily the Science teacher and the coach for boys' baseball, football, and track teams, and the girls' basketball team. On the walls of the gymnasium hang the Indian Clubs used in the popular strength exercise routines. Mounted in a scrapbook dedicated to the Grade and High School in Valley City, North Dakota.
