Title: Boys and girls at their stations in the Chemistry Laboratory at the High School in Valley City (N.D.)
Date: 1903
Inscription/Marks: On the page below the mounted photograph: col. 76-11, and "Laboritory-A class in Chemistry---Valley City, N.D."
Summary: A male teacher stands against the wall watching the two girl and six boy students work at their Chemistry experiments in the newly built Valley City High School(N.D.). Chemicals are on recessed shelves behind the teacher, and empty wooden desks fill the room near the laboratory stations that line the outside wall of the classroom. The light from the high windows behind the lab stations helps give necessary illumination to a room with a single hanging from the ceiling. The building was built in 1903. Mounted in a scrapbook dedicated to the Grade and High School in Valley City, North Dakota.
