Title: Superintendent George W. Hanna's office in the new High School in Valley City (N.D.)

Inscription/Marks: On the page below the mounted photograph: col. 76-13- and "Superintendent's Office--Valley City, No.Dak."
Summary: A glass-front barrister's bookcase and a bank of wooden file drawers in on the wall opposite the desk at which the Superintendent George W. Hanna of the Valley City (N.D.) High School sits. Hanna came to Valley City in 1899, a graduate of the Des Moines, Iowa seminary. He sits in a wooden swivel chair in front of the pulled out side drawer of a roll-top desk. The rear wall is filled with a large window, shade drawn, that has a stained glass semi-circular window above. Mounted in a scrapbook dedicated to the Grade and High School in Valley City, North Dakota.
