Summary: Original bedroom furnishings in Marquise De Mores' bedroom at Chateau de Mores Historic Site. Donated by the De Mores family when the house was given to the State of North Dakota. The bed has a high headboard and a lace canopy that may be used to shield the occupant. A legged tray sits on top of the coverlet on the bed and a high backed wooden chair sits next to a door with stained glass panels. A chest sits photo left with a pitcher and washbasin on top of a lace cloth with a handtowel draped over the back of the chest. Photo right a chest of drawers has a lace covered top with a small picture in frame. The walls are covered with wallpaper and have a few framed images displayed.
