Summary: Staff and visitors standing outside the Chateau de Mores Historic Site. Donated by the De Mores family to the State of North Dakota. Three-quarter view of the two story wooden house with a porch that wraps around two sides. Double-hung sash windows line both stories and have closeable wooden shutters. A downspout from the roof gutter leads to a barrel where rain water is collected. The people stand next to the outside entrance to the basement and storage area. The valley where Medora (ND) is located is visible in the far background photo right with the Badland buttes beyond.
