Inscription/Marks: "Main Street of Wishek between 1901 & 1906"--Handwritten on front of photograph.
Summary: Two men sit in a horse drawn sleigh on Main Street in Wishek. Snow and water are both visible on the unplowed street. The First State Bank of Wishek is the only identifiable business on the street.

Summary: This may have been part of MSS 10161 George W. Lilly which was .25ft. of notes for the WPA history of McIntosh County, no longer in database or on shelf. Or it may have been separated from the George W. Lilly Pioneer Biography Series 30529. Each photo is stamped Historical Data Project.
