Summary: Parked parade wagons and decorated animals and many people on the sidelines. Single story wood frame buildings are in the background. Some of the signs on the buildings read, " W.C. McKenzie, General Merchandise" and "Post Office " and a sign on a animal reads, " Stop at Jacks for a good cold drink." Sign on wagon says : The Herald Always earliest with the latest. The Hettinger Herald has all the news and tells no lies, that's why our merchants advertise."

Summary: Postcard photos of street scenes in New England, Bowman, Dickinson, Cooperstown, Douglas, Hettinger, Mott, Munich, Lakota, and Garrison (N.D.) and McLaughlin (S.D.). John D. Johnson, a building contractor, built many of the buildings pictured here.
