Summary: Wagons laden with wrapped bags of wool are parked in the street in Bowman, N.D. People have emerged from local businesses to look at the wagons. Visible businesses include the Hotel Sterling, a barber shop and bakery, Johnson & Simon Contractors and Builders, the U.S. Land Office, S.L. Sheldon Attorney at Law and F.R. Paige, and what might be a general store with a partially visible sign reading Peters and Pasch-.

Summary: Postcard photos of street scenes in New England, Bowman, Dickinson, Cooperstown, Douglas, Hettinger, Mott, Munich, Lakota, and Garrison (N.D.) and McLaughlin (S.D.). John D. Johnson, a building contractor, built many of the buildings pictured here.
