Summary: A view of the Chateau de Mores and other buildings at the state historic site in Medora.||The Marquis de Mores arrived in North Dakota in 1883 and he built this house as a summer residence for his family. They spent summers here until 1886. The house was deeded to the State Historical Society of North Dakota by Louis, Duke de Vallombrosa in 1936.
