Title: Bones of Steamship Minnie H, Devils Lake (N.D.)
Date: 08/07/1934
Creator: Slorby Studio (Bismarck, N.D.)
Summary: People walk on the shoreline of Devils Lake, near the remains of the steamship Minnie H at Creel Bay. The ship's boiler is still visible inside the hull of the ship. The water level of Devils Lake is barely visible in the background.||The Minnie H was in operation between July 1883 and the fall of 1908. Low water levels in Devils Lake eventually forced the boat's retirement. It was a popular excursion and form of transportation for chautauqua goers during the summer season.
