Summary: Theodore Roosevelt's cabin sits in its original location on the Maltese Cross Ranch near Medora. Scrub surrounds the building, but trees and features of the Badlands are visible in the distance.||The Maltese Cross Ranch cabin was located seven miles south of Medora. Roosevelt acquired an interest in the ranch in 1883 and actively ranched in the Badlands until 1887 and maintained an active interest in the area until 1898. During his presidency, the cabin was exhibited in Portland and St. Louis, and then moved to the Capitol Grounds in Bismarck. It was relocated to the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park in 1959.

Summary: Album of images taken by Richard Cecil Hall of Eaton Brothers Custer Trail Ranch, Medora (ND), cattle round up and beef issue at Fort Yates, and a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park on horseback. Hall, from Bedford, Pennsylvania likely was a long time friend of the Eatons and visited the ranch in 1902.
