Title: Frayne riverboat at dock at Bismarck Ways under Northern Pacific Railroad bridge
Date: circa 1920
Summary: A view of the Liberty Memorial Bridge and approach from the Bismarck side. The approach to the bridge is not complete, and building materials are visible on the approach surface. Snow covers the ground, and people are visible in a construction area near the bridge. The boat Frayne is visible at the river's edge. The Liberty Memorial Bridge between Bismarck and Mandan opened in 1922 and cost nearly 2 million dollars to build. The bridge was demolished and replaced in 2008.
