Title: View of the Liberty Memorial Bridge under construction from shore, Bismarck, N.D.
Date: circa 1921
Summary: A view of the construction of the Liberty Memorial Bridge as viewed from the shore on the Bismarck side. One of the bridge spans is complete, while only scaffolding and supports for the rest of the bridge are visible. The Liberty Memorial Bridge between Bismarck and Mandan opened in 1922 and cost nearly 2 million dollars to build. The bridge was demolished and replaced in 2008.
