Summary: Netta Halvorson Ellingson (August 13, 1885-August 21, 1955). Married to Arndt Ellingson in 1916. Head and shoulders studio portrait of woman in white calico dress with high neck lace collar with broach, two bows in her hair (top and back). The photo has been cut into an oval shape and mounted on card with printed design surrounding it and the photographer's name in lower photo right corner.

Summary: Consists of Halvorson, Bischoff, and Schwann family photographs. Image subjects include portraits of family members, gardens, farming activities, winter, ice fishing, Norwegians, and Germans from Russia. There are several images of Mark J. Halvorson's work at the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
