Alvin is wearing a dark suit, white shirt, dark patterned tie with carnation boutonnière.

Summary: Consists of Halvorson, Bischoff, and Schwann family photographs. Image subjects include portraits of family members, gardens, farming activities, winter, ice fishing, Norwegians, and Germans from Russia. There are several images of Mark J. Halvorson's work at the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
