Title: The Old Governor's Mansion in the early part of the twentieth century, Bismarck (N.D.)
Date: 1907-1913
Inscription/Marks: In pencil on the back of the cardboard mount: 71-25, and 0071-25".
Summary: The trees in the yard of the Old Governor's Mansion are leafless, so much of the house is visible in this photograph from around 1910 in Bismarck (N.D.). The west side of the house is most easily seen through the branches. The picture was taken from the southwest, across Avenue B. from the residence, and was part of the collection of Burke's daughter Marian. The building retains the two color paint scheme with which it began its life .
