Title: Two pictures in the same snapshot, a dog in one and a woman in the other, at the Old Governor's Mansion, Bismarck (N.D.)

Inscription/Marks: On the back: 0071-39-48, "No Date", and "48".
Summary: Two different snapshots are contained in this image. One, described earlier in 00071-00039-12, shows a woman in a dress beside a garden outside the Carriage House at the Old Governor's Mansion, Bismarck (N.D.). The second picture is of a small multi-colored dog of uncertain breed, sitting on the cheek-wall of the front steps to the Mansion's screened entry porch. It is unclear which Governor's family was in residence at this time, Aandahl left office in 1951, and was succeeded by Brunsdale from 1951-1957, and then Davis from 1957-1961.
