Title: Two women primp in the Carriage House quarters of the Old Governor's Mansion, Bismarck (N.D.)
Date: Circa 1955
Inscription/Marks: On the back: 0071-39-50, "No Date", and "50".
Summary: Two women, unidentified but likely the wife and one of the four daughters of Phil Fetch, chauffeur of the North Dakota governors, work on hairstyling in their home in the Carriage House of the Old Governor's Mansion, Bismarck. A box holds a mirror in front of the women. The younger of the two is fussing with the other's hair. Behind them is a door house on top of an old crib, and a curtained window. It is unclear which Governor's family was in residence at this time, Aandahl left office in 1951, and was succeeded by Brunsdale from 1951-1957, and then Davis from 1957-1961.
