Summary: A two story wooden building behind a few trees. The storm windows for the building rest against the outside wall. A partially visible flag flies in the center from the roof of the building. On the sidewalk in the foreground are rain collecters. The short wall separating the site from Main Street is covered with climbing vines. A shelter in the foreground photo right is covered with climbing plants. Trees are planted along the sidewalks and outside wall. [Camp Hancock was originally known as Camp Greeley, founded in 1872. The name changed the following year. The site initially was the supply depot for Fort Abraham Lincoln. The post, as seen here, became an office of the Weather Bureau after it was no longer needed to supply Fort Abraham Lincoln. Today the site is located in Bismarck on West Main Street.]
