Inscription/Marks: On the front: names, date, occupation inked. On the back: 00075-01182, the stamp of the Historical Data Priject, and postcard marks.
Summary: Posed for a formal photographic portrait to record themselves in their mail carrier gear, are Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Ogden of Oakes (N.D.). Across their chests lie the straps of the heavy bags. Mr. Ogden wears a carrier cap and a double-breasted uniform jacket. His wife, employed as a substitute R. F. D. carrier wears a smart straw hat, black with a wide flat brim, and a long double-breasted wool uniform coat. The picture was taken in 1910.
