Title: White-faced cattle grazing on the open range, Fort Berthold (N.D.)

Inscription/Marks: On the back: 0075-149, and a paper typed by Killdeer, N.D. photographer Leo D. Harris on an official Federal Works Agency card with the caption "Cattle grazing on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. Note the luxuriant pastures".
Summary: Several dozen head of white-faced cattle graze on the thick grass of a section of North Dakota prairie on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. A few small cottonwoods provide a bit of shade for the herd, and a badlands outcrop is a picturesque background for this rural scene.
