Title: Three unidentified boys by the Carriage House at the Old Governor's Mansion, Bismarck (N.D.)
Date: 1945-1951
Inscription/Marks: On the back: col 71-59.
Summary: Three unidentified lanky young boys are standing in a row on a garden hose which is stretched out on the lawn between the Old Governor's Mansion and the Carriage House. Taken in Bismarck (N.D.), during the Aandahl terms, 1945-1951, this comes from the family collection. A hedge partly screens the clapboard-sided Carriage House from the side and back lawns of the Mansion. One of the boys crosses his arms across his chest, has on high boots and rolled up pants. The shortest lad looks almost as if he has only one arm, and his pants are rolled up mid-calf. The tallest boy wears jeans and white tennis shoes. They all wear short-sleeved polo shirts. The Carriage House is behind them, built in 1903 during the White administration.
