Title: Nine children pose on the front steps of the Old Governor's Mansion, Bismarck (N.D.)
Date: 1945-1951
Inscription/Marks: On the back: col. 71-51.
Summary: Governor Fred G. Aandahl's family photographs include this informal snapshot of nine children on the front steps of the Old Governor's Mansion at 320 E. Ave B, Bismarck (N.D.). Two of the children in the back row appear old enough to be playmates of the youngest of the Aandahl girls, the rest are much younger in age. One girl in the front holds a kite, other children appear to be in dress-up costumes from earlier days. The image is faded, but it looks as though there are four boys, and five girls. The white-painted clapboards of the mansion porch are visible. The Aandahls occupied the residence from 1945-1951.
