Title: Four women in Sitting Bull's family stand outside his log house

Summary: Two women and two girls wearing shawls and skirts stand outside Sitting Bull's log house on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.||When he brought his family to Standing Rock, Sitting Bull moved into this log cabin near a sundance lodge. He was sleeping in his cabin early in the morning of December 15 when the Indian police arrived to arrest him and transport him to Fort Yates. After Sitting Bull’s death, his family continued to live in this house. During the Ghost Dance, many Lakota Ghost Dancers brought their families to live in tepees near Sitting Bull’s house.

The A collection consists of items 4 X 5” or less, the B collection consists of items 5 X 7” or less, the C collection consists of items 8 X 10” or less, the D collection consists of items 11 X 14” or less, and the E collection consists of items larger than 11 X 14”.
