Summary: A woman stands on the steps of a yellow house somewhere in North Dakota on land along the path of the Great Northern Railway. In addition to promoting farms and businesses, the railroads promised that newcomers would live in fine homes. This 1910 Great Northern postcard picture shows a very well-built and attractive farm house along the GNRR line.
