Summary: A view of storefronts on the left side of the street. There are several people on the sidewalk near the two parked carts, one at center, the other in the distance. The street is dirt. Both wooden and brick buildings can be seen. Pembina was founded in 1843 and is the oldest settlement in North Dakota. The town served as Pembina County seat from 1867 to 1911.
