Summary: A brick court house with a tower. There is a large chimney towards the right side of the building. The entrance is elevated and on the left side of the building. Trees stand in the foreground, partially obscuring the view. The first Cavalier County courthouse was built in 1884 and of poor quality, wooden construction. The courthouse pictured above was built in 1895 and was torn down in 1958 when a new courthouse was constructed.
