Summary: A view of storefronts on both sides of the street. The street at center has many cars and trucks in progress as well as parked. A flag and flagpole stands dead center. The building on the left corner is F. W. Woolworth Co.. The building on the right corner is Hotel Dacotah. The building in the right foreground is the First Federal Savings & Loan Association of Fargo.||Fargo was founded as The Crossing in 1871 and was known unofficially as Tent City. The name changed first to Centralia, then to Fargo in 1872. The city, located on the Red River, is the seat of Cass County.
