Summary: A tranquil park scene on the banks of the Red River. There is a groomed lawn to the right and trees scattered on both river banks.||Island Park was ceded from the Northern Pacific Railroad to the city of Fargo when the township was platted. The Red River runs along the park. During the 1930s the Works Progress Administration bult a public swimming pool in the park.
