Summary: Michael Ferry one of the first settlers of Manvel (DT). Full face standing portrait from calves up, Michael is wearing a dark three piece suit with a white shirt and white four in hand tie and dark Homburg hat. His left elbow is resting on a pierced metal support that replicates a rug pattern. A Trompe l'+ôil background shows a mansion fading into fog behind him. The albumen image has been printed on paper that appears to rolling up off the backing, and is mounted on a cabinet card that gives the impression of being a frame with the photographer's information at the bottom in gold ink.
