Reichensperger was born on May 21, 1861 in Waite Park, Stearns County, Minnesota to Karl (1828-1866) and Anna Louy (1830-1907) Reichensperger. He worked as a cowboy on the Theodore Roosevelt ranch in Medora, Billings County, North Dakota with Daniel Friedmann around 1880-1890. He married Theresia Henninger in 1895 in Minnesota. He died on September 27, 1914 in Waite Park, Stearns County, Minnesota and is buried in the Saint Joseph Cemetery, Saint Joseph, Stearns County, Minnesota. Charles and Theresia had two children: Arthur Valentine (1896-1961) and Roman John (1897-1983).
Summary: Young man in fringed leather jacket and pants with wide-brimmed hat, resting his right arm on top of a rifle stands next to a horse [same horse as in A1697-00001 that Margaret Barr Roberts is riding] The horse is saddled and standing in profile. Behind him are bushes and trees. Charles M. Reichensperger is the son of Mrs. Anna (Leoy Reichensperger) Udermann who was photographed with Mrs. Margaret Barr Roberts in A1697-00001.
