Summary: Consists of the working files of former Museum Division curator Norman Paulson. Series includes photographic materials which document his work and may have been used for his reference or for exhibits. Also includes field notebooks and staff logs, detailing projects that Paulson was involved in beginning in 1959 until his retirement in 1992. There are some gaps in the logs, but activities during the years 1975-1992 are meticulously recorded. Miscellaneous files from Paulson’s office are included in the Series, such as index cards with artifact information, correspondence and donations, and research on Sully’s 1863 expedition, the Sibley Trail in North Dakota, and Fort Rice history. Several oral interviews are present in the Series. __ __ __Summary
