Title: Prairie east of town. Turtle Mountians barely visible at left. Buildings are a mile away. In early spring you find wild flowers here. Pasque flower, locally called 'crocus' with its woolly coat and blue and purple blossoms; violets, yellow and blue, and the gophers, saucy things claim the prairie wheat fields as their own.

The collections preserved in the North Dakota State Archives include over a million images. Only a small percentage of these images have been digitized. This photo gallery provides a preview of the images that have been digitized.
