Thiel and Edith Wagener (of Judson, N.D.); Edith Wagener, Mamie Thiel, and Elda Held's school papers; baptism and confirmation certificates of Wilhelm Thiel, Edith Wagener, Mamie Thiel, and Elda Held; map of school districts in Morton County; copies of early accounts of New Salem settlers who were members of the Evangelical Church; a ration book and life insurance flyer from World War II; copy of revised ordinances of the city of New Salem; copies of city maps of New Salem with notes; the Ten Commandments designed and drawn by students of the the NDAC Department of Agriculture and a portrait of Harold J. Held's Air Force Unit in uniform (Held was from New Salem).
