Title: Mrs. Harold Graves presenting the North Dakota flag to the National Cathedral, Washington, D.C.

Inscription/Marks: Included note reads "This is a picture of Mrs. Harold Graves, a member of Fort Seward Chapter, North Dakota Daughters of the American Revolution. She was State Regent 1933-1935, and Vice President General 1936-1939. She is shown presenting to an Episcopalian Bishop a flag of the State of North Dakota which was provided by ND DAR to the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. We are certain the presentation took place in 1935, during her second year as State Regent. The money was raised in her first year of regency. The site of the photograph is somewhere on the exterior of the National Cathedral.

Summary: This collection contains individual and group portraits and pictures of members of North Dakota Chapters of Daughters of the American Revolution. A large number of postcards of French monuments and ruins during World War I are present, as well as photos of early Bismarck (D.T. and N.D.) and Dryden (N.Y.).
