Title: Workers harvesting sugar beets on the Albert Sinner Farm, Casselton (N.D.)
Date: 1936-1942
Inscription/Marks: On the front: edit marks in the margins, and a "2" is marked in white. On the back: col. 75/733-1 (now 00733a), "GNDA" in red, "Sugar beets", and edit marks. The photograph is wrinkly and gluey.
Summary: Eight hard-working men are sweating in a flat plowed-up field of sugar beets. The only visible shade is on the horizon where trees form a shelter for farm buildings. The sugar beets are being harvested and the beets collected to load into a farm truck further down the field. The men all wear hats and sturdy work clothes.
