Inscription/Marks: On the back: 00080-0001-00001 replaces "Box 1 file 1", and the date "1-75".
Summary: Governor Art Link is at the podium in the main assembly room in the State Capitol of Bismarck, North Dakota, addressing the opening of the Legislative Session in January, 1975. Surrounded by microphones and other government officials, the Governor is reading from a speech. Link served as governor from 1973-1981. Among those around him are Secretary of State Ben Meier, Justice Ralph J. Erickstad, Senator Quentin Burdick, Senator Milton Young, Tax Commissioner Byron Dorgan, Attorney General Allen Olson, Ltn Governor Wayne Sanstead, PSC Commissioner Bruce Hagen, and Dick Dever. Taken by a Bismarck Tribune photographer, possibly Leo LaLonde, Steve Wallick, or Jerry Anderson, all working at the paper during this period.
