Title: Three women fill cups from the USS North Dakota silver punch bowl during the 1975 Inaugural events

Inscription/Marks: On the back: 00080-0001-00005 replaces "Box 1 fl-5", and the date "1-75".
Summary: Three unidentified young women fill cups from the silver punchbowl, part of the 40 piece silver service from the USS North Dakota battleship, during the 1975 Inaugural festivities at the Capitol in Bismarck. The table holding the large punchbowl is positioned in the Memorial Hall. The January events included this Inaugural Ball. One woman has an elaborate and fashionable beehive hairstyle, another wears a corsage, and the third wears a long dress and oversized glasses popular in the mid-1970s. Taken by a Bismarck Tribune photographer, possibly Leo LaLonde, Steve Wallick, or Jerry Anderson, all working at the paper during this period, and part of a collection of several decades of newspaper photographs donated by the Tribune.
