Title: Rep. Earl S. Strinden in an afternoon conversation with two unidentified men in the North Dakota Capitol

Inscription/Marks: On the back: 00080-0001-00016 replaces "Box 1 fl-16", printing notations, and "Jan 9/75".
Summary: The clock on the wall behind Representative Earl Strinden as he converses with two other men reads 3:30 p.m. Strinden served as North Dakota's Majority Floor Leader in 1975, the time of this photograph, and was re-elected as Republican House Leader from 1975 through 1988. He represented District 18. He retired from political office in 2000. Taken by a Bismarck Tribune photographer, possibly Leo LaLonde, Steve Wallick, or Jerry Anderson, all working at the paper during this period, and part of a collection of several decades of newspaper photographs donated by the Tribune.
