Inscription/Marks: On the front: Bob Feickert stamp. On the back: 00080-0008-00210 replaces "0080-box1-f4-16", " mandan Sitting Bull Bridge", and "Jun 4 1976" stamped.
Summary: Tire marks and oil spots already mar the tarmac of the newly completed Sitting Bull Bridge, and the superstructure of the bridge it replaces still spans the Heart River in Mandan, N.D. Named for the famed Sioux leader Sitting Bull, the bridge is a modern wide vehicle bridge with low concrete railings on Highway 1806. Taken in June, 1976, by Mandan, North Dakota photographer and photo stringer for the Bismarck Tribune, Bob Feickert, and part of a collection of several decades of newspaper photographs donated by the Tribune.
