Summary: Presidential candidate John Fitzgerald Kennedy tilts his head as he listens to Ken Wood of Mandan , who sits beside him at a luncheon table in Bismarck, North Dakota. The two men are part of a Ypoung Democrats gathering held on February 6, 1960 at the Patterson Hotel in Bismarck, N.D. The topic that JFK addressed at his speech to this group was the Rural Electrification Administration. The speech is available at the Kennedy Library website. Taken by the Bismarck TRibune.
