Title: North Dakota State Senators Aloys Wartner, Jr.of Harvey, and Ken Morgan of Walcott take a coffee break with Representative Arthur Link of Alexander
Date: 01/27/1959
Inscription/Marks: On the back: box01-file11-01 has been replaced with 00080-0018-00732, "Aloys Wartner, Jr., Harvey, sen... Ken Morgan, Walcott Sen.,Arthur Link, Alexander, rep. coffee break", "17911", "55" encircled, "2 col", and the red tribune stamp bearing the date 1-27-59.
Summary: Three North Dakota politicians share their coffee break time together, left to right the men are identified as State Senators Aloys Wartner of Harvey, Ken Morgan of Walcott, and Representative Art Link. Later to become Governor of North Dakota, Link was from the town of Alexander, in the western part of the state. The men are in business suits and ties. As other formica-topped tables in the room are filled with men as well, it seems likely that the location is in the cafeteria of the state Capitol in Bismarck. Taken in the early days of the 1959 legislative session, January 27, 1959, by the Bismarck Tribune.
