Inscription/Marks: On the back: 0080-box 2-file 09-01 March 1958 and col-80-254 are replaced with 00080-0032-01255, " Bill Dubrenski--549 radio operator", "William Bribenski is one of 40 men on a tiny island on the Aleutians chain that serves as a refueling stop for aircraft. B. T. March 14, 1958 p 13", "3 col coa", "16368", "60" encircled, "Lonely Outpost w/3/30 Bismarck radioman".
Summary: A young dark haired man identified as William (Bill) Bribenski sits at his radio control console in the Aleutian Island aircraft refueling station where he has been posted. He is not in a military uniform, but rather a knit collared shirt. This is a very remote location between Alaska and Russia. Notes indicate 40 men are stationed here. Notes also so a discrepancy in the man's last name. One location shows the name to be "Dubreski".
